Creating Sections
Music notation uses the sections to determine the number of bars to draw and play back. So adding or removing sections automatically makes the notation staff longer or shorter.
To create a new section box: use the “Create Section” action button on the Switch Bar or use the menu via Insert ➔ Create Section. The location of the new section is context sensitive:

| No section was previously selected. | After the last entry. |
| A section was already selected | After the selected one. |
| The timeline needle is not at zero | At the needle location. |
